Ok, so it's been a while, sorry, still getting used to this. In the meantime I've been checking out some cool pg sites and talking to other pg women which is really nice! It really helps talking to other women that are going thru the same things as you are. It's also nice because not everyone has the same symptoms and on the one website you kinda just post your feeling and ask questions and if anyone else feels the same way they send you a message.
I've also been doing some shopping...I bought a pair of brown flats, ordered black ones (they didn't have my size in the store), bought some non-maternity, "babydoll" type blouses (to get me thru this awkward stage), one more pair of stretchy pants from NY & Co (even tho I'm boycotting them) and a "tummy sleeve"! Oh! And another book...."The Grlfirend's Guide to Pregnancy".
I'm wearing the brown flats now and have already worn 4 of the 6 new items of clothing I've bought, not including the tummy sleeve. I may need to wear it later this week, but we'll see.
I had a dream last night that I had a bump and I was so excited! I actually had to check my tummy when I woke up! Ha! You see, yesterday my aunts came over to my mom's for Easter and I think they all came to me to check my bump (that I don't have yet) and were disappointed that there wasn't anything to see. So, I think that fueled my dream. It was so wierd because it was so hard and it actually had the texture of a basketball! Lol! Pretty funny, huh (kinda gross too)?
That's really all that's been going on... I did post another baby name poll that you can vote on if you'd like andwe have our next appt this Thursday! I'm sooooooo excited!!!!!! I'm hoping they'll do another u/s since the first one was done so early and we only got to see a blinking dot!

I'm SO EXCITED you're doing this!!! Helps me feel connected :)
I'm so thrilled for you guys and this wonderful journey you're beginning. Love you all!!
I am so happy for you. I know I really didn't show it at first...and I'm sorry..I have just been so shocked. This makes it even more real for me. I know how badly you've been wanting all of this and I am truly happy for both of you guys! You couldn't have picked a better man than you did. Lucky for Todd, you have a really cool brother that he can hang out with. LOL! I just can't wait to be an uncle AGAIN! Bring him/her on! Needless to say, I'm guaranteed to be broke this Christmas. And now I have yet another website to become addicted to. Thanks Jen!
Love all three of you,
John
Yeah! I can't wait for Thursday so I can tell the world the news (although you kinda already are with this blog...;)
I loved the Girlfriends Guide to PG. It was my favorite book because it allowed me to laugh at pregnancy instead of worry and trying to get all "educated."
Anyway, I can't wait to see a bump. I promise that one day you'll wake up, and it will be there! Love you!!!
Bump, schmump - all you have to do is look at you & you KNOW you're pregant. The light in your eyes is like nothing I've ever seen. And even when you're cranky :-), there's still a hint of a smaile on your face. What a blessed mom I am - in the space of 6 short months, you (well, God really did it) have given me a wonderful new son-in-law (I prefer son)and now a new baby to shower with love. Can't wait! I love you ALL!
